Enhanced Accessibility
United Access conducted surveys to gather customer feedback on areas needing improvement. Two key areas emerged: the need for an upgraded waiting area and more accessible spaces.
When visiting our newly remodeled Las Vegas location, guests will now notice a range of features designed to significantly enhance the in-store experience.
Semi-Enclosed Family Room: The newly added enclosed family room offers customers a quieter and more comfortable space to wait while their vehicle is being serviced. With a wide opening for easy entry, the chairs and furniture have been carefully selected for stability and ease of access, accommodating both wheelchair transfers and ambulatory visitors. This thoughtful design ensures that all customers, regardless of their mobility needs, can relax and feel at ease during their visit.
Larger Service Offices: Expanding our service office space significantly enhances accessibility for both our team and customers. By adding larger entryways and a more spacious service office, these improvements ensure that individuals with mobility challenges can navigate the space comfortably and safely.
ADA-Compliant Restroom: Our newly remodeled ADA restroom is now more spacious and features touchless amenities, including sinks, toilets, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers. Every detail, from the placement and style of the fixtures to the direction of the door swing, has been thoughtfully designed to assist customers with mobility and dexterity limitations, allowing them to use the restroom facilities more independently and comfortably.
Hand Control & Digital Displays: A hand control display and a digital display provide customers with multiple ways to view and test our products, enhancing their in-store experience. United Access offers a wide variety of adaptive equipment beyond wheelchair-accessible vehicles, allowing customers to explore various options and make informed decisions about the products that best meet their needs.
Veterans Wall: Adding a Veterans Wall to our store is a meaningful way to honor and serve the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country. This wall serves as a constant reminder of the courage and commitment of our veterans, fostering a sense of pride and gratitude within our community.
